The main focus of this update was to reduce the difficulty (especially in the later days), improve the sound design, and to add some general polish. Thanks for playing!
Changes
- Increased the time that customers will wait for an order
- Customers can no longer order two potions at once
- Customers will not have a chance to order multiple simple ingredients instead of a potion
- Customer spawn times are more spaced out and more random
- Adjusted some recipes (potions will now generally have at most 3 ingredients)
- Adjusted the ingredient/potion order pool of customers
- Made hovering over interactables more consistent
- Added new sound effects for certain events and replaced some sound effects that didn’t fit
- Added a new sound track - “Summertime - Dreamy Piano Ballad”, by JuliusH
- Added new night ambience effect for the night-time screen that appears in between days
- Adjusted colours of various sprites
- Added ripple effect to main menu
- Added some text effects to victory screen
- Game starts on the customer ordering area instead of the living room
- Increased bat hitbox
- Increased gold minigame grabber speed
- Made mandrake easier to pull
- Increased cauldron mixing speed
Bug Fixes
- Fixed business rating not visually resetting at the beginning of each day
- Removed the brief delay after winning the tomato minigame
- Fixed some typos
